Taco Bell just launched a new wine called Jalapeno Noir, a Pinot Noir produced by the boutique Queenston Mile Vineyard in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Is this a perfect pairing or marketing mistake?
Watch the video above to find out and let me know what you think of this combo in the comments below please.

We love saying “cheesy chalupa”…rolls off your tongue like the wine!

It’s really awesome that it is sold through Taco Bell too, a new revolution for wine sales. Many restaurants have adapted to selling wines with take out meals. Always a plus!
I wonder if other chains will follow suit or if the winery plans to create another wine for Taco Bell’s … say burritos?
I’ll say won’t be long for other chains to follow. Bet will be successful
We had a rose with frozen pizza last night that went surprising well
Hey Adele, that’s a good idea! I’m doing pizza tonight…
Never though I would see Taco Bell wine.
**We might all be mindful in supporting the smaller wineries right now… order direct from them… Grateful for this time, Natalie!
🍷Gilman- that’s what I thought about…
Great class if you havent taken it.
I’m in every Wednesday. Love this.
Mississauga Ontario….and Naked Grape Pinot Grigio. My go to after work sip
Hope I can see this later driving with kids then relax, enjoy the night everyone
From north Toronto. When I first heard about this wine I thought it was a joke!
for Queenston, what is the residual sugar of the PN? If low, is it at the level of non-fermentable sugars?
The creamy cheese with the tiny little kick… Pinot makes sense….
Wonder if we will see a golfer Dustin Johnson wine Wayne Gretzky’s future son in law. Mike Wier and several other pro golfers have labels
Looking forward to this….I’m betting the cab wont go as well with the chalupa
Enjoying Cotes du Rhone watching this interesting tasting with an aged cheddar. Watching from SW Florida!
Replay… thought this was next Wednesday…was looking for jalapeño pinto at lcbo … for some obvious reason now… lol couldn’t find it so got this
Live then replay for the beginning. Will this wine be available in the USA?
I have problems pairing wine with spicy fod: they normaly do a diservice to the wine in mos ocations
Is the acidity of the PN greater than the Merlot?
Natalie, is the cheesy chalupa very spicy? (heat-wise?)
I’m weirdly excited for this!! yay!
Live from Mississauga Hi Natalie. drinking wayne Gretzky number 99 Chardonnay.
The mild sauce is tricky…

Live from the Boston area. Um, no, it’s really unlikely that I’ll have the tb chalupa, but this sounded amusing and I’m curious to hear about the wine. Gotta love the marketing technique!
Jalapeño noir, are there notes of spice?
What would you typically pair with cumin and chile powder?
I missed the intro, who makes the wine you just tasted?
The last place you’d think is fast food outlet
